USM School of Music Faculty Concert Series Continues with Elisabeth Marshall and Bridget Convey

Voice artist faculty member Elisabeth Marshall, with Bridget Convey on piano, present a dramatic and emotional program of music, by composers and authors from Maine and New England, from Supply Belcher to Scott Wheeler, Edna St. Vincent Millay to Thornton Wilder, and featuring the world premiere of a new collection of songs Emily Dickinson poems, by James Kallembach and excerpts from Barbara White's solo piano work, "Reliquary."


Set against a backdrop of New England landscapes and subjects, this concert program features texts and music of the people from the rich history and culture of our nation's birthplace, with all of its beauty, struggle, heartbreak, and triumph.


The concert will take place on Friday, March 17 at 8 p.m. in Corthell Concert Hall on the USM Gorham campus. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and USM alumni, and $5 for students. Purchase tickets online, or by calling 207-780-5555.
