Penobscot Theatre Company Presents A WRINKLE IN TIME ImagePenobscot Theatre Company's Dramatic Academy will stage Madeleine L'Engle's classic adventure through the universe, A Wrinkle in Time, November 2-3 at 5:00PM and November 4 at 11:00AM. All three performances will be at the historic Bangor Opera House, 131 Main Street, Bangor.

A Wrinkle in Time is the tale of adventure, mystery, and bravery that many may remember from their youth. Meg Murry, a young girl full of stubbornness and pride, knows not where her father has disappeared to.

After a visit from Mrs. Whatsit she learns of the Tesseract, the scientific concept her father had been researching prior to his disappearance. Meg, determined to find him, leads her genius mind-reading brother Charles Wallace and fellow misfit from school Calvin O'Keefe on an adventure to find her father. With the help of Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs Who, and Mrs Which the young trio begin their adventure throughout the universe. A journey that begins as a quest for her missing father leads the group to an encounter unlike any other; seeing for themselves the face of evil. Directed by Ben Layman and Assistant Directed by Dan Hanchrow with classroom assistance from teaching artist Eric Byers.

The ensemble cast includes Elizabeth Shum (Meg), Luka Bogolyubov (Charles Wallace), Joey Rutledge (Calvin), Miranda Larson (Mrs. Whatsit), Sofia Merchan Fonseca (Mrs. Who), Innana Piccininni (Mrs. Which), Lily Montgomery-Rice (Mother), Atticus Foster (Father), Jacob Klein (Dennys), Isabella Fagone (Sandy), Kallyn Brown (Lobby Guard), Nadia Rodriguez (Bully), Lily Jenkins (Teacher), Rocki Ballato (Postal Worker), Beatrix Foster (Camaztotz Mother), Jacob Ng (Little Boy), Derrick Johnson (Newspaper Boy).
