MSMT Brings Back Disco With SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER Maine State Music Theatre is bringing bellbottoms back for its third show of the season, Saturday Night Fever. This platform-tapping flashback runs from July 18 - August 4.

Based on the 1977 blockbuster film, Saturday Night Fever whisks you back to the 1970s, where open shirts, bell-bottoms, and disco were all the rage. Tony Manero, a talented street-wise kid from Brooklyn, yearns of escaping his dead-end job and becoming a "disco king" at the local club. He meets a young lady who can help him achieve his dance dreams, but will she accept his advances and help him change his world? Packed with legendary hits from The Bee Gees including: "Stayin' Alive," "You Should Be Dancing," "How Deep Is Your Love," and many more, Saturday Night Fever sizzles with a compelling story and explosive dance.

The leads are played by Jacob Tischler (Tony Monero) and Alexandra Matteo (Stephanie Mangano). Anthony J. Gasbarre, III, Casey Shane, Nic Casaula and Dre Carr play Tony's Bay Ridge, West Brooklyn buddies (Joey, Double J, Gus, and Bobby C, respectively).

The Manero family is played by Michael Gorman (Frank Sr.), Susan Moniz (Flo), Frankie Paparone (Frank Jr.) and Siobhan Kelley as the teenage sister (Linda).

The cast is rounded out by the ensemble, including Kelly Liz Bolick (Connie), Michael Buchanan (Monty), Courtney Daniels (Candy), Mariah MacFarlane (Annette), Christina Carlucci (Pauline), Dan Bob Higgins (Cesar), Michael Olaribigbe (Chester), Bria Jene' Williams (Shirley), Carissa Gaughran (Maria), Elisabeth Christie, Michael Peter Deeb, Caleb James Grochalski, Jake Hartman, , Jessie Lawyer, , Stevie Ann Mack, Lauren Mcdonald, Susan Moniz, Reagan Danel Ogle, Melaina Corey Rairamo, Buddy Reeder, Matty Rickard, and Alec Duffy Talbott.
