"IT'S ALIIIIIVE!" From the creators of the record-breaking Broadway sensation The Producers, comes this monster of a new musical, based on the 1974 comedic film masterpiece written by Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder! This winner of the 2008 Outer Critics Circle Award is not without scary and hilarious complications. The story follows bright, young Dr. Frankenstein (that's "Fronkensteeen") as he attempts to complete his grandfather's masterwork and bring a corpse to life.

With such memorable tunes as "Puttin' on the Ritz," "The Transylvania Mania," and "He Vas My Boyfriend," The New Mel Brooks Musical YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN is scientifically-proven, monstrously good entertainment... and the only place you'll witness a singing and dancing laboratory experiment, in quite possibly the largest tuxedo ever made.

Opening night of Young Frankenstein, along with gala reception, will take place tonight, April 18th at 8:00pm. with regular performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:30pm through Saturday, May 3rd.

Reserved Seating is $21.99, and seniors pay $17.99. Group rates are available for ten or more. Contact the Box Office for tickets & seat availability at (207) 799-1421, TicketsLyric@gmail.com, or www.LyricMusicTheater.org. All performances are at Lyric Music Theater, 176 Sawyer St., South Portland, ME, 04106.

Young Frankenstein is directed by Don Smith, choreographed by Victoria Perreault, musically directed by Sylvia Infantine, and produced by Candyce Jamerson.
