Don Williams Returns to the Gallo Center Tonight

Veteran country music star Don Williams makes a return appearance at the Gallo Center for the Arts at 7:30 pm tonight, March 5. He last appeared at the performing arts center in November 2011.

Tickets for the concert are $29 to $79, and may be purchased online at www.galloarts.org, by calling (209) 338-2100, or from the Gallo Center ticket office at 1000 I Street in downtown Modesto.

Nicknamed "the Gentle Giant" in the decades he was a dominating country hit-maker, because of both a commanding presence and a laid-back aura that has appealed to men and women alike, Williams is celebrated by fans and critics for the straight-forward, honest emotions in his music and performance style. His hit songs include "Good Ole Boys Like Me," "I Believe In You," "Love Is On A Roll," "Amanda" and "Tulsa Time," all of them notable for some best country lyrics and melodies ever created.
