It’s 1962 and in the city of Baltimore young Tracy Turnblad, a lovable girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, has only one passion – to dance. When she wins a spot on a popular TV dance show she is transformed from outsider to teen celebrity. She must use her newfound power to defeat the evil plans of teen princess Amber Van Tussle, win the affections of heartthrob Link Larkin, and integrate a TV network.
