My Name Is Asher Lev star and veteran Broadway actor Mark Nelson has been chosen as a recipient of the 2013 Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship, it was announced by the Ten Chimneys Foundation.

From July 21 to 28, Academy Award nominee, six-time Golden Globe winner, and five-time Emmy Award winner Alan Alda will lead a group of ten Fellows chosen from around the U.S. This year's conference will explore the subject of spontaneity on stage, in a master class and retreat on the grounds and within the inspirational rooms of Ten Chimneys, the National Historic Landmark estate of Broadway legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne in Genesee Depot, Wisconsin.

"The Fellowship is a wonderful honor," said Mark Nelson. "I'm especially thrilled that Alan Alda will be guiding the work. I've admired him for as long as I can remember."

Since its inception in 2009, the Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship Program has brought the nation's top regional theatre actors to Ten Chimneys to work with a renowned master teacher. Past master teachers include Lynn Redgrave, Olympia Dukakis, Joel Grey, and director Barry Edelstein.

Ten Chimneys Foundation selected Mark Nelson and nine other actors from the nominees submitted by the partner regional theaters. Nelson was nominated by The Cleveland Play House, where he gave an acclaimed solo performance in I Am My Own Wife, by Doug Wright.
