Anselme, passionate collector of medals and other antiques, squanders the family fortune into so-called precious objects. Around him revolve intriguing, a woman's cunning bedroom, stepmother duo / daughter conflict: the perfect cocktail to upset the whole household!

The continent's image often comes to speak of Carlo Goldoni. An image that says the magnitude of his work (115 comedies, 18 tragicomedies, booklets, interludes, canvases ...) and the European dimension of this playwright born in Venice in 1707 who writes in three languages (Venetian, Italian and French).

Family collector is a fascinating piece on the vicissitudes of the world of collectors and nobility. Goldoni hardened characters are portrayed, strong, through reports that the protagonists have with each other. It crunches us a company that works on the property. Everything is bought, the collector's item like the title of nobility or recognition in this society made ??appearances. What is still relevant two centuries later ...
