Dada Masilo is one of South Africas's Most exciting contemporary dance talent. Following the great success of her Swan Lake in 2012, the unconventional choreographer and dancer prodigious returns to Luxembourg with her ??very own take on the Carmen-myth. Inspired by the music and the narrative and taking Flamenco lessons for the project it is clear That Masilo Carmen wants her to be very real. For her it is about sex, manipulation, bread, ambition and death and she feels a strong need to be "in your face" about it. Influenced by what is going on around her in her own country, audiences can expect her new establishment to be just as dazzling and intelligent than her previous works rigorously.
