CATS: Young Actors Edition is a one-hour adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit musical set amongst a larger-than-life junkyard playground and is alive with purr-fect felines. The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year, the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one, they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.

Director/Choreographer
Charlize (Charli) O'Dell is a professional dancer/choreographer located in Lexington, KY. Holding a B.A. in Dance from the University of Kentucky, Charlize specializes in unique and memorable musical theatre choreography. Some previous choreographic credits include: SIX:Teen Edition(Gateway Regional Arts Center), Guys & Dolls, Once Upon a Mattress, Shrek: The Musical(Bryan Station High School), Newsies, Legally Blonde Jr. (Innovation Arts Academy).
Ava Sizemore
Music Director
Ava has been performing since she was a little girl--musical theatre has shaped so much of who she is. From being on stage to collaborating behind the scenes, Ava loves every part of the creative process. Ava is incredibly excited that CATS will be her first time stepping into the role of music Director. She couldn't imagine a more special show to begin that journey with.
