The Drama Studio Announces PROOF for 3/1-4

The Drama Studio have announced their upcoming production of PROOF by David Auburn, directed by John Finnegan & Debbie Endris and starring Grace Robertson, Harrison Coffman, Victoria Reibel and John Finnegan. Performances will be from March 1-4 at the St Genesius Theatre, 128 E Bell Ave, Clarksville, IN 47129.

Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein have announced the line-up of events that comprise the annual College Days Weekend as part of the 36th annual Humana Festival of New American Plays. This year, College Days Weekend is slated for March 16 - 18, as part of the Humana Festival of New American Plays that runs February 26 -April 1, 2012.

During the German occupation of Denmark in World War II, the Nazis closed down Jewish-owned businesses and began to round up the Jews for relocation to concentration camps. Danish freedom fighters of all ages risked everything in daring, hurried attempts to rescue the entire Jewish population. In this stirring play, young Annemarie and Kirsti Johansen face soldiers, interrogations, personal danger, the loss of loved ones and their own fears as they try to help their friend Ellen Rosen escape across the ocean to Sweden. Number the Stars, a national best seller (and winner of the Newberry Award and the American Library Association Book of the Year Award) by author Lois Lowry (The Giver).

Actors Theatre of Louisville Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein today announced the three ten-minute plays chosen to premiere during the 36th Humana Festival of New American Plays (February 26 - April 15, 2012). This year's ten-minute plays are:The Ballad of 423 and 424 by Nicholas C. Pappas, Hero Dad by Laura Jacqmin and The Dungeons and the Dragons by Kyle John Schmidt.
