Bold, sometimes brutal yet eminently compelling, Pandora's original staged reading, the GLBTQ Youth Project debuts at the Walden Theatre on Payne Street Thursday evening, January 6, 2011.
Playwright Kevin DelPrincipe and Pandora's Artistic Director Michael Drury worked with students from The Louisville Youth Group (LYG) and the University of Louisville's commonGround LGBTQQIA (Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Transgendered, Queer, Questioning, Intersexed, Ally) organization to create the GLBTQ Youth Project. Through writing workshops, conversations, and interviews, both groups shared their personal stories, resulting in a riveting theatre piece that takes aim and levels its audience with multi-layered moments of joy, pain, acceptance and rejection.Don't miss this timely, topical, groundbreaking production. The GLBTQ Youth Project is presented at Walden Theatre, 1123 Payne Street, Downtown Louisville, January 6, 7, 8, and 9, 2011.
