OVER THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS Approaches Opening at DDP

Derby Dinner Playhouse will present the hit comedy OVER THE RIVER & THROUGH THE WOODS, opening May 30 and running through July 8, 2018. For ticket information please call 812-288-8281 or visit derbydinner.com.

Laughter - guilt - lasagna! This delightful family comedy, written by Joe DiPietro, features Nick, a single, Italian-American from New Jersey. Nick's parents have moved to Florida but he now sees both sets of his grandparents every Sunday for dinner. The action begins when Nick has to tell his grandparents that he's been offered a dream job. A job that would take him away from his beloved, but annoying, grandparents. The news doesn't sit well. Thus begins a series of schemes to keep Nick around. How could he betray his family's love and move to Seattle! His grandparents do their level best to change his mind, and that includes bringing to dinner a lovely single girl as bait.

The OVER THE RIVER & THROUGH THE WOODS cast will include Brian Bowman as Nick, Cary Wiger, Tina Jo Wallace, J.R. Stuart and Rita Thomas as the grandparents, and Katelyn Webb as Nick's possible love interest.
