The Kentucky Center and Brown-forman Midnite Ramble present Complexions Contemporary Ballet in Star Dust, A David Bowie Tribute on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 8 p.m. at The Brown Theatre (315 W. Broadway, Louisville).

In this "utterly transfixing" tribute to the glamourous life and music of David Bowie, Complexions Contemporary Ballet transcends tradition in a groundbreaking mix of styles ranging from ballet to hip hop.

Founded by former members of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Desmond Richardson and Dwight Rhoden, the company has been featured several times on the hit show So You Think You Can Dance.

In the 23 years since Complexion's inception, Richardson and Rhoden say they have created an institution that embodies its historical moment, a sanctuary where those passionate about dance can celebrate its past while simultaneously building its future.
