Mason Home Concerts 2026 Opening Night: Anna Schubert & Milena Gligić perform Bach & Schubert at Todd Mason Home Concert

“Mason Home Concerts” announces additional details for its 2026 season of chamber music concerts, a series that offers rare access to world-class musicians in an acoustically refined, salon-style setting on Los Angeles’s Westside. Now in its 12th year, the series takes place in the purpose-designed private Santa Monica home of composer Todd Mason and runs from Saturday, January 24 through Saturday, May 16, 2026. The season brings together principal and longtime members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, LA Opera Orchestra, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, and Long Beach Symphony, alongside distinguished faculty and alumni from Juilliard, USC, and UCLA. Spanning traditional and contemporary repertoire, the series includes a preconcert talk by Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Dr. Kristi Brown-Montesano at each performance, fostering direct engagement between artists and audiences in an immersive evening of music.

Continuing a storied Los Angeles tradition of private residence concerts, Mason Home Concerts was founded in 2013 by Mason and his late wife, Robin. In preparation for launching the series, the couple undertook extensive renovations to their home, transforming it into a dedicated, custom-built chamber music environment with an intimate 50-person capacity.

The 2026 “Mason Home Concerts” season opens on January 24 with a program featuring soprano Anna Schubert and pianist Milena Gligi (this program replaces the previously announced inaugural concert of the season). Together, the duo will perform works by Bach, Schubert, and French art songs. A distant relative of the famed composer Franz Schubert, Anna Schubert is one of the most sought-after soloists in Los Angeles and appears regularly with the LA Master Chorale, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, and LA Opera.

Tickets are offered at a suggested $40 minimum donation per concert or $175 for a season pass, with each ticket including hors d'oeuvres and the signature buffet dinner at 5:30pm prior to the 6:00pm concert start. “Webern Quartet” featuring Benjamin Hoffman, Chiai Tajima, Alex Granger, and Stella Cho.

April 18
“Los Angeles Wind Sextet (plus one!)” featuring Susan Greenberg, Jonathan Davis, Sérgio Coelho, Amy Jo Rhine, Judith Farmer, Kevin Fitz-Gerald, and Bernadene Blaha.
Program: Selections of Bach, Kreutzer, Childs, Brahms, and Gershwin.
