Life & Times of Michael K, adapted by Lara Foot and in collaboration with Handspring Puppet Company, brings JM Coetzee’s acclaimed novel to the stage. The story follows Michael K, a man navigating a war-torn South Africa as he embarks on a heartfelt journey to fulfill his mother's final wish. The production features a talented South African cast, including Susan Danford and Andrew Buckland, and combines evocative puppetry, dance, and film to vividly capture the themes of oppression and resilience. This poignant adaptation resonates with audiences, exploring profound connections between humanity, nature, and the search for freedom.
