Vicki Knight Performs At Blame It On Midnight 6/20

Originally from Canada where she was a well-known performer, Vicki Knight moved to the Desert area in the early eighties and wasted no time making a name for herself in Southern California and quickly dubbed "The Desert's Songbird". On Sunday, June 20, 2010, Ms. Knight will present her latest cabaret show, "Father's Day, Mama's Way", featuring songs about her favorite subject - men!
 
The highlights of her career are numerous and include: featured female vocalist for two years in The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies; appearances at The Lawrence Welk Theater in Escondido; featured roles as Yetta in "Oy Vay" and at The Palm Canyon Theatre in “That’s Entertainment – The Golden Years”, “Viva Palm Springs”, and as Golda in “Fiddler On The Roof”. Her one-woman cabaret shows have been seen at The Rock Garden, The Wilde Goose, Peters, Sun City Palm Desert, and Blame it on Midnight, in addition to special events, private parties and two annual fundraising concerts at The Stroke Recovery Center Several for The Jewish Federation of the Desert. She has received awards twice from the Desert Theater League and been nominated four years in a row.

Vicki Knight's Sunday, June 20th show is at 8 PM with dinner seating at 6 PM and cocktails only at 7 PM.  Blame It On Midnight is located at 777 East Tahquitz Canyon Way, next to Regal Cinemas in Palm Springs. Reservations are requested by calling 760-323-1200. $10 cover and a $10 minimum.
