Upright Cabaret presents Ryan Raftery & Friends: A SOLO ACT at Upright Cabaret at Mark's Restaurant. The show that has been "changing lives bi-weekly" in the basement of a NYC bistro finally comes to Los Angeles...at another restaurant.

According to press notes, "Brooklyn native Raftery sings everything from Rodgers and Hammerstein to Rihanna, interspersed with tales of his moving friendship with a hooker in the Deep South, his fabled rivalry with multi Grammy Award-winner Natalie Cole and much more. No singer alive can compete with the glorious clanging of knives and forks better than Ryan Raftery!"

Ryan Raftery & Friends: A SOLO ACT will be performed on Friday & Sunday, Oct 24 & Oct 26th, 2008 at 9pm (Sunday 8pm). Due to demand and a sold-out Sunday performance, a 2nd show has been added on Friday, Nov 24 at 9pm
