Thoms, Barrett Foa et al. Pay Tribute to Quentin Tarantino in FOR THE RECORD

Show At Barre revisits the experience that launched its critically acclaimed "FOR THE RECORD" concert series; showcasing signature songs and iconic scenes from the movies of Quentin Tarantino. Conceived and Directed by Shane Scheel and Christopher Lloyd Bratten, "For The Record - Tarantino In Concert" began on September 29 and will officially open tonight at 9PM, running through November 12. Combining East Coast Broadway theatrics with the style and spectacle of Los Angeles, "For The Record - Tarantino In Concert" takes audiences on a musical journey through 25 years of pulse pounding movie magic. Unquestionably a master of modern American film, Tarantino has also mastered the art of the movie soundtrack with song choices that have helped define his signature style. This 25th anniversary retrospective highlights hit Tarantino directed films including Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Four Rooms, Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2, Death Proof, and Inglourious Basterds. Those in attendance can also expect to enjoy California cuisine, inventive cocktails and exceptional service with Mr. Pink. All will be encouraged to twist with Vincent and Mia.

"For The Record - Tarantino In Concert" stars a rotating ensemble of Film, Television, Record and Broadway talent. The cast includes Tracie Thoms (Tarantino's "Death Proof"), Anneliese van Der Pol (Disney's "That's So Raven"), Barrett Foa (CBS's "NCIS LA"), Jackie Tohn (Bravo's "Platinum Hit"), Kristolyn Lloyd (CBS's "Bold And The Beautiful"), Von Smith (Fox's "American Idol"), Rogelio Douglas Jr. (Broadway's In The Heights), Ginifer King (Broadway's Gypsy), Jason Paige (Blood Sweat and Tears), Darryl Semira (Broadway's Mamma Mia). Anderson Davis (Broadway's South Pacific), Steve Mazurek (TNT's "Hawthorne"), Ben Goldberg (NBC's "ER"), Melissa Tang (CBS's "CSI"), Derek Klena (Off-Broadway Carrie), Danielle Truitt (Disney's "The Princess and the Frog") and introducing Tawny Dolley, Dionne Gipson, Ra Shonda M. Johnson, Tinuke Oyefule and Margaret M. Spirito.

This production will make its world theatrical debut during the SXSW film and music festival in Austin, TX at the Long Center for the Performing Art on March 14, 2012.
