The Welk Resort Theatre Presents A CHRISTMAS CAROL November 17-December 31

Welk Resort Theatre, located in Escondido at the historic Welk Resort, will open A CHRISTMAS CAROL on Friday, November 17th. The production is led by director, Larry Raben. Choreography is by Karl Warden with Musical Direction by Justin Gray. A CHRISTMAS CAROL runs through December 31st. After this production, the Welk Theatre will temporarily close for an extensive lobby remodeling project - and will reopen with live musical theatre performances as soon as the fall of 2018.

Bah! Humbug! Introducing A CHRISTMAS CAROL, the spectacular musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' quintessential story. Oscar®-winning composer Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid) breathes new life into the moving tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, an irascible, cold-hearted grump who despises all things Christmas-that is, until he's visited by three ghosts one fateful Christmas Eve. Watch as Scrooge, forced to face his selfish ways, finds the true meaning of love and gratitude. An enduring family classic.
