The Production Company's Artistic Directors August Viverito and T L Kolman proudly announce the inauguration of the company's new "Radio Style" play reading series and the christening of our new studio-space dubbed The Production Company Workspace with the world premiere of "The Blur" by Dean Farrell Briggeman.

The decision to have a baby or not is a very personal (and sometimes painful) one. After 15 years of marriage, Tanner & Beth have come to a crossroads at which there is no compromise: one of them feels a desperate need to procreate and the other refuses. Meanwhile, Beth's brother Christopher & his husband Carl eagerly prepare for the births of their biological twins via surrogacy. How are we changed when we bring children into the world, when we embrace that reality and responsibility? And what are the repercussions of skipping parenthood, either willfully or reluctantly?

The cast and creative team include some of TheProdCo's top talent including LA Drama Critic's circle "Best Actor" award recipient Jim Hanna, Jay Blair, Jennifer Sorenson, and Ben Gilman, alongside outstanding guest artists Michael Oosterom (recently seen as Dr. Givings in TheProdCo's "In the Next Room or the Vibator Play"), Carissa Gipprich, & Laura Pursell. The play is produced by Stephanie Shulz for The Production Company.

TWO NIGHTS ONLY! Sunday, January 26 @ 7 PM, Monday, January 27 @ 8 PM. Please note that The Reading Series is # THE Production Company WORKSPACE, 14731 Oxnard St., Van Nuys, CA 91411, Between Van Nuys Blvd and Kester Ave. Plentiful free parking right out front.
