The McCallum Theatre Adds Twenty-Plus New Shows to Its 2013-2014 Season

Tickets for four of the added performances, as well as four announced earlier will go on sale on Thursday, August 1 at 8:00am. The performances include newly added shows featuring Bill Maher; Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers featuring Edie Brickell; Graham Nash; and a special celebration of the music of George Gershwin and Friends, Rhapsody in the Desert, performed by longtime McCallum friend Jeffrey Siegel, presented in partnership with College of the Desert.The Coachella Valley's premiere theatrical venue, The McCallum Theatre, has added an exciting new array of offerings to its' already jam-packed upcoming seaon. Comedy, jazz, world music, country royalty, pop icons and first ladies of American song have been added to the roster of McCallum Theatre's 2013-2014 season. "We are always looking to add performances with the broadest appeal to Valley audiences," said Mitch Gershenfeld, President & CEO of the McCallum. "We are pleased that several terrific shows became available after our subscription brochure went to press and delighted to add them to what is already an exciting and diverse season of world-class entertainment."

Single tickets will also be available for purchase for the following previously announced performances: Second Annual Family Fun Day featuring Popovich Comedy Pet Theater; Alton Brown Live; Frida, the Musical and Vince Gill.
