The Katselas Theatre will present the world premiere of the comedy DETENTION FROM THE DEAD, opening October 31st at the Beverly Hills Playhouse Research Space. DETENTION FROM THE DEAD is written by Robert Rinow, directed by Alex Craig Mann, and produced by Gary Grossman.

High school sucks, especially when zombies attack. Five disparate high school students find themselves trapped in detention together after their school is overrun with Zombies. Between tormenting the decapitated zombie head of their former math teacher, getting stoned, and mocking each other every chance they get, these students have a hell of a night ahead of them.

Previews will run Oct. 23, 24, 30, with an opening Night of Saturday, October 31 at 10pm. Performances continue Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, until December 5, 2009.

Tickets will be $15 for general admission and $10 for students. For reservations, call: (310) 358-9936 or for Katselas Theatre Company General Information, visit their website at www.katselastheatre.org.
