Terrell Carter Joins Cast of New Musical IN-LAWS FROM HELL, 7/9

Fresh from the hit movie "Think Like A Man Too", super talented singer, actor Terrell Carter is set to star in the much anticipated adaptation of Andrionna Williams award-winning novel "In-Laws From Hell" which has been transformed into a Musical Stage Play. In-Laws From Hell is produced by Williams and is slated to open August 9, 2014 for a one night only special performance in Los Angeles at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre to kick off the 2014 tour.

Terrell Carter best known for his silky smooth voice, his ability to captivate an audience and his amazing physique, blazed on the scene in a huge way starring in hit Stage Plays by now Hollywood mogul Tyler Perry. From the singing preacher in "Dairy Of A Mad Black Woman" (the movie) to the sexy son of a Nicci Gilbert in the hilarious Stage Play "Meet The Browns," Terrell has made quite a positive name for himself in the entertainment world. His vocal range, skilled writing and vocal arranging capabilities, as well as, his passion for the creation of rich soul music have won praises from some of the heaviest names in the industry. Terrell's voice has accompanied the likes of artists such as India Arie, Faith Evans, Patti Labelle, Christina Aguilera, and famed drummer Sheila E. Terrell has toured with Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin, and Yolanda Adams.

The play revolves around Melissa, the fiancé of Baton Rouge Louisiana's sexiest and most eligible bachelor Joaquin (Terrell Carter), and a host of colorful characters that weave a wonderful storyline of love, deception, and dysfunction. As the story unfolds we find that everything that glitters ain't gold, and falling in love with the man of your dreams can quickly turn into a nightmare once you meet the "In-Laws From Hell!"

"In-Laws From Hell" is a powerful story of unconventional love and honor told with honesty and brutal truth. Under the direction of 2014 Emmy nominee and Broadway In The Hood Founder Torrey Russell the show features powerful original music written and arranged by Demieceo Benson, with costume design by Broadway In The Hood's Co-Founder Preston Coghill, set design and technical direction by Henry "BJ" Jackson and is under the general management of Theatrical Entertainment Worldwide. "In-Laws From Hell" stars a cast of extraordinary actors and singers who make the evening an unforgettable theatre experience that will have you rolling in the aisle and screaming for more. "I am honored to have the joy of bringing this wonderful new story to life on stage," says Russell.
