Steven Fales Brings One-Man Show CONFESSIONS OF A MORMON BOY to the Zephyr Theatre, 3/01-4/26

The Possibility Foundation and MB Productions presents the Los Angeles return of Steven Fales' award-winning, off-Broadway one-man sensation "Confessions of a Mormon Boy" playing every Sunday at 7pm from March 1 thru April 26, 2015 at the Zephyr Theatre, 7456 Melrose Ave., LA, CA 90036.

"I'm excited about this run in L.A. because it leads up to the ten-year anniversary revival of "Confessions of a Mormon Boy" off-Broadway in 2016." Said Steven Fales "That is also the year my new book "Oxy-Mormon Memoirs" comes out and the documentary film "Mormon Boy". It's all very exciting. Now that my kids in Utah are raised, I have the time and energy to take things to the next level."

"Confessions of a Mormon Boy" has played off Broadway, across the country and internationally including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London's West End. This critically acclaimed solo play is Fales' hilarious, harrowing and inspiring true story of extremes from perfect Mormon boy to perfect rent boy and how he found a middle ground reclaiming his kids and "Donny Osmond" smile. Based on original direction by Tony Award Winner Jack Hofsiss ("The Elephant Man").

"Confessions of a Mormon Boy" had a previous extended run at the Coast Playhouse in 2007 and is now Part One in "Mormon Boy Trilogy" which also includes his critically acclaimed "Missionary Position" and "Prodigal Dad".

Steven Fales (playwright/performer) received an Outer Critic's Circle Award Nomination for Outstanding Solo Performance and was a Lambda Literary Award Finalist for the off-Broadway run of his solo play "Confessions of a Mormon Boy" at the SoHo Playhouse. Prior to that he received an "Overall Excellence Award" as a breakout hit at the New York International Fringe Festival and has received numerous awards since. He has extensive regional credits including Utah Shakespeare Festival, Pioneer Theatre Co, Sundance Theatre, Connecticut Repertory Theatre, Stage St. Louis, Coconut Grove Playhouse, among others.
