The Stella Adler Lab Theatre Company is proud to present Three One Act Shorts by the talented playwright Tim McNeil. Purplish, Schism and The Straight Bozo, set to open in The Stella Adler Gilbert Theatre on August 15th, 2014. Proceeds from the run of this production will benefit The Stella Adler Academy & Theatre Scholarship Fund.

Playwright Mona is dying of cancer and trying to understand what comes after. She recruits her estranged love Amanda to help her discover the truth of her life, her love, and her career, in a most unusual way.

Evan Dougherty is a man with a secret traveling the morning commute on the Long Island Railroad. The secret will slowly come to light in this farcical comedy about the lives, worries, and anxieties of Wall Street's workers.

ABOUT THE STELLA ADLER
The Stella Adler Theatre is a non-profit organization. The organization encompasses The Stella Adler Academy, a world renowned acting school to which many deserving student-actors receive substantial scholarships; The Stella Adler Outreach Program that serves children and senior citizens all around Los Angeles; and a production arm (The Stella Adler Lab Theatre Company), that brings new and classic plays to Los Angeles audiences. This particular production will serve as an Academy Benefit Fund Raiser. Proceeds from the run of the production will benefit The Stella Adler Academy & Theatre Scholarship and Outreach Fund.
Three Shorts will Open August 15th and run through September 7th, 2014 at The Stella Adler Theatre, on The Gilbert Stage. Performances are Friday, Saturday at 8:00PM and Sunday at 7:00PM. There are no preview performances.
