By: BWW News Desk Mar. 14, 2010
The Soap Fan Mystery Theater will present a staged reading of Christie's SPIDER'S WEB on March 13 and 14.
SPIDER'S WEB is the story of Clarissa, the play's glamorous "spider," who stumbles upon a dead body in her husband's study. Agatha Christie's suspects are played by Daytime TV's most popular stars. Together they spin a web of deceit to throw the Police Inspector - and the audience - off the track until the true killer and motives are revealed. Nothing is what it seems in this humorous and exciting mystery thriller. Clarissa Hailsham-Brown will be played by Juliet Mills ("Passions," THE ELEPHANT MAN) and Sir Rowland by Maxwell Caulfield ("Grease 2," CHICAGO). Ricky Paull Goldin ("Another World," "All My Children," GREASE) will play Inspector Lord; Adam Mayfield (All My Children," "Boston Public") will play Elgin, the Butler; and Jacob Young ("General Hospital," BEAUTY AND THE BEAST) will play Jeremy Warrender.
