Shakespeare OC Announces 'Pay What You Will' for TWELFTH NIGHT & MACBETH

By:

Back by popular demand for Shakespeare Orange County's twenty-second anniversary season celebration are "Pay What You Will Thursdays" at Garden Grove's Festival Amphitheatre.

Audience members can make a "donation of their choice" for tickets to the remaining Thursday evening performance of TWELFTH NIGHT OR WHAT YOU WILL and MACBETH at the Festival Amphitheatre in an outdoor setting with performances staged under the night sky.

"This summer audiences get to see some of the Bard's best known characters played by seasoned professionals who really are "actor's actors," said Founding Artistic Producing Director Thomas F. Bradac. John Walcutt plays the Scottish king in MACBETH and Evelyn Carol Case is his Lady Macbeth. Opening the season is TWELFTH NIGHT OR WHAT YOU WILL featuring Karissa Vacker as Viola and John FreDeRick Jones as Sir Toby Belch and John Walcutt as Malvolio. "We have people driving from all over Southern California and beyond to see our work," stated Bradac, "and we want to provide everyone with the opportunity to see it-?-?-?thus one of the reasons for the Pay What You Will program."
