SOMBERTON SENIOR RESIDENCE PRESENTS THE NUTCRACKER Set for Found Theatre, 12/6-1/4
By: BWW News Desk
It's become a brand-new holiday tradition! There's no place like "the home" for the holidays. The Found's off-beat take on this Christmas classic is back by popular demand -- SOMEBERTON SENIOR RESIDENCE PRESENTS 'THE NUTRACKER'.
When a young man performing community service in a rest home decides to put on a production of the world's most famous ballet, things are bound to get a little crazy. Funny, incisive, uplifting...and the best evidence yet that the arts improve everybody's lives. Written by John Sturgeon and Virginia DeMoss, directed and choreographed by Lauren Nave, and starring a wacky cast of Found Theatre regulars. The show runs Friday & Saturday, December 6 to 28 and January 3 & 4, 8:30 p.m. Plus! Sunday Matinees: December 8, 15, 29 and January 5, 2:30 p.m. Tickets: $15. Information and reservations, call 562/433-3363 or visit foundtheatre.org. Performances run at The Found Theatre, 599 Long Beach Blvd., Long Beach, CA.
