On Sunday, October 29th, theatre veteran Robert Yacko debuts his solo cabaret show, "Opening Doors" at Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal, located at 5303 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91601

During Robert's lengthy show biz career he has shared the stage with the likes of Carol Burnett, Leslie Uggams, Rita Rudner, and Cesar Romero, and is a former dance partner of the legendary Cyd Charisse. He has been seen in numerous Los Angeles productions such as "Ma Raineys Black Bottom" and "Parade" at the Mark Taper Forum, "Can-Can" at The Pasadena Playhouse, "Sylvia" with Cathy Rigby, and he was the star of the Los Angeles premiere of Stephen Sondheim's "Sunday in the Park with George." Robert made his Broadway debut in "Fiddler on the Roof" with Herschel Bernardi, directed by the great Jerome Robbins.

With Robert's powerhouse vocals and musical finesse, "Opening Doors" is a unique, uplifting and nostalgic journey of a life on the stage, told in story and song.
