Studio C Artists presents the world premiere of author Rachel Burcham's new play, CAMPFIRE STORIES, directed by J. Bailey Burcham, and produced by Michael Sonntag with Artistic Director John Coppola. The show stars (alphabetically) Brigetta Barrett, Emily Button, Maggie Cleary, and Kate Robertson.

Opening performance is tonight, March 25th, 2016, continuing on eight dates through April 16th at the Studio C Artists performance space along Theatre Row in Hollywood.

Following four women through four pivotal chapters of their friendship, CAMPFIRE STORIES sheds warm, flickering light on the kind of moments that stick with you for a lifetime. Beginning on the final night of summer camp where they first met, this thoughtful examination of friendship is interspersed with the campfire tales that the girls tell each other, revealing secrets that keep them together... and the ones that keep them apart.

Rachel Burcham graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre and is a recent transplant to the Los Angeles community. CAMPFIRE STORIES is her playwriting debut, and she is thrilled to combine her passions for both theatre and the written word for the first time. Rachel is a choreographer, poet, and performer; you may have seen her recently as a contestant in LA's Next Great Stage Star. She is excited and honored to be continuing her artistic journey with the amazing cast and crew at Studio C.

Based in Los Angeles, Studio C Artists (studiocartists.com) is a production, casting, and arts education company founded by Artistic Director John Coppola and Producer Michael Sonntag.

The running schedule for CAMPFIRE STORIES is as follows: Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00PM from March 25th through April 16th. Approximate running time is 60 minutes. The ticket price is $25.00 for general admission ($20.00 for early bird within 24 hours of the performance), and reservations can be made by visiting campfirestoriesla.eventbrite.com. Studio C Artists is located at 6448 Santa Monica Blvd., on Theatre Row, in Hollywood, CA.
