REPRISE! Presents "THE SONGS OF RODGERS AND HAMMERSTEIN"
REPRISE! Broadway's Best announced today the third and final event in the Marvelous Musical Monday series for the 2005/06 season, Amick Byram, Kevin Earley, Jean Louisa Kelly and Vicki Lewis starring in THE SONGS OF RODGERS & HAMMERSTEIN, with musical direction by Steven Smith, choreography by Lee Martino and direction by Nick DeGruccio. THE SONGS OF RODGERS AND HAMMERSTEIN will perform on Monday, May 8 at 8:00pm at UCLA's Freud Playhouse. This is the final show of REPRISE! first subscription season of Marvelous Musical Monday events!
More so than any composer and lyricist who have written for the stage, the songs of Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein have become a part of our lives. REPRISE! closes its season with a magical night of songs by the most successful partnership in Broadway musical history.
Enjoy some of your REPRISE! favorites performing memorable songs from classics like OKLAHOMA, CAROUSEL, SOUTH PACIFIC, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, THE KING AND I, and many more. A glorious evening featuring a parade of genuine hits and some surprise audience sing-along moments may be added to the fun!
