On Friday, January 22, Clark Terry protégé and jazz pianist Justin Kauflin will be joined on the stage of the Bram Goldsmith Theater by lauded musical producer Quincy Jones for a special Q&A at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. The Q&A will follow the 8pm film screening of Keep On Keepin' On, Alan Hicks' ode to the friendship between the prodigious lifetime Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Clark Terry and Kauflin, and a rousing performance by Kauflin on piano.

Kauflin, who launches the Next Generation @ The Wallis series focusing the spotlight on rising artists across the performing arts spectrum, has a close relationship with Quincy Jones, who was Clark Terry's first student in the 1940's and maintained a lifelong friendship with the trumpeter and serves as executive producer for Keep On Keepin' On. Kauflin was signed by the legendary producer and music icon, and in 2013 and 2014, was part of Quincy Jones' World Tours.

Next Generation @ The Wallis: Justin Kauflin tickets, ranging from $29-$59, are available at TheWallis.org, by calling 310.746.4000, or in person at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts Ticket Services located at 9390 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Beverly Hills, CA 90210. Ticket prices subject to change. For complete information, visit TheWallis.org, or call 310.746.4000.
