Playwrights' Arena's CINNAMON GIRL to Premiere 3/15 at Greenway Court Theatre

Playwrights' Arena, in association with Greenway Arts Alliance at Greenway Court Theatre, presents the World Premiere of CINNAMON GIRL by Velina Hasu Houston (Book and Lyrics) and Nathan Wang (Music), opening Saturday, March 15, 2014. The show will be directed by Jon Lawrence Rivera with musical director Marc Macalintal.
CINNAMON GIRL - A musical set in 1939 Ceylon, an orphaned cinnamon peeler searches for a home to call her own. Through unexpected twists and turns, she finds it in the most surprising place.
The cast will feature: Byron Arreola, Jaime Barcelon. Kerry K. Carnahan, Ren Hanami, Michael Hagiwara, Jennifer Hubilla, Dom Magwili, Peter Mitchell, Leslie Stevens and Anne Yatco. Creative Team: CHOREOGRAPHY: Giovanni OrtegaSET DESIGN: Christopher Scott Murillo

Performances run Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 P.M.; Sundays at 7:00 P.M. The show will close Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. All performances play the Playwrights' Arena at Greenway Court Theatre, 544 North Fairfax Avenue in West Hollywood , CA 90036 (One block south of Melrose at Clinton). FREE SECURE PARKING.
