On Saturday, June 2, 2012, actor, singer and original Billie Jean, Helen Slater attended the closing night of "Invincible, The Legend of Billie Jean – THE MUSICAL" at the Cavern Club Celebrity Theater. Check out the photos below!
Slater played Billie Jean in the cult classic film, "The Legend of Billie Jean." Slater is also well known for her work in films Supergirl, Ruthless People and The Secret of My Succe$s. Recently Slater had a recurring role on the ABC-Family series, "The Lying Game". Slater appeared in two off-Broadway plays: "Almost Romance" and "Responsible Parties" and at the Pasadena Playhouse in 'The Big Deal." Slater also has released three musical CDs.
"Invincible, The Legend of Billie Jean! - The Musical!" is based on the 1985 cult hit film "The Legend of Billie Jean" in which Billie Jean becomes a modern day Joan of Arc. Throughout the story the cast breaks out into song, singing the hit songs of Pat Benatar. The musical workshop ran for the last two weekends to packaged audiences and plans to return to the stage soon.
