Opening this Friday, Collaborative Artists Ensemble's production of "Anatomy of a Hug" by Kat Ramsburg.

When Ameila's mother receives compassionate release from her prison sentence, Amelia's carefully constructed world is threatened.

Twenty seven years of living vicariously through her beloved television characters doesn't prepare her for the actual drama of her mother's return or the advances of a charming co-worker.

The ticking clock of her mother's illness means Amelia must decide if her fictional life is safer than the possibility of her own story.

Anatomy of a Hug runs November 9th-December 2nd with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 7pm at The Sherry Theater (11052 W. Magnolia Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91601)
