Pat Whiteman & Harriet Schock to Reprise Hit Show at E-Spot Lounge
Singer Pat Whiteman and Grammy-nominated songwriter and recording artist Harriet Schock will reprise their hit show Thursday, June 29 at the E Spot Lounge in Studio City.
BroadwayWorld called the duo a "dream team" and the show itself a "divine songfest" in its debut in 2016.
Gary Lynn Floyd will serve as special guest along with a substantial band including Joe Lamanno on bass, Eden Livingood on cello, MB Gordy on percussion Andrea Ross-Green and Barbara Shane on background vocals, Kelly De Sarla on flute and Brad Blaisdell on harmonica. A special appearance by composer Misha Segal is planned.
Schock is best known for her Grammy-nominated song "Ain't No Way to Treat a Lady" recorded by Helen Reddy. She has also written for a variety of other artists including Johnny Mathis, Smokey Robinson, Robert Flack, ManfrEd Mann, as well as TV and film.
Ms. Whiteman is a popular performer on the Los Angeles cabaret and club scene performing in shows at Rockwell Table and Stage, Vitello's, The Gardenia, The Federal and McCabe's. Her latest show, "A Whiteman Sampler", is directed by Jason Graae with musical direction by John Boswell.
