Odyssey Theatre & New American Theatre to Present CREDITORS, 10/11-12/15
The New American Theatre and Odyssey Theatre Ensemble present the Los Angeles premiere of David Greig's new version of August Strindberg's psychological thriller CREDITORS - a sexy, savage, darkly comic (and very modern) take on the battle of the sexes.
In this toxic triangle, Adolph anxiously awaits the return of his wife to their seaside resort, comforted by his world-wise advisor, Gustav. But comfort soon turns to destruction as old wounds are opened, insecurities are laid bare and former debts are settled in this fierce and funny tale of obsession, honor and revenge.
CREDITORS runs Oct. 11-Dec. 15: (Fridays & Saturdays @ 8 pm, Sundays @ 2 pm, select Wednesdays and Thursdays @ 8 pm) at Odyssey Theatre, 2055 S. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90025; $25-$30, (310) 477-2055 x2; www.OdysseyTheatre.com.
