Nevenka Presents Benefit Concert for FolkWorks, 4/26

Nevenka is pleased to be part of a Benefit Concert for FolkWorks Saturday, April 26th, 2014, 8:00 p.m. at the Women's Club of Santa Monica, 1210 Fourth St, Santa Monica, CA 90401.
For those of you who are not familiar with FolkWorks, they are a great online resource for traditional, folk and roots music lovers. The FolkWorks publications include calendar listings of events in the greater Los Angeles area, interesting articles, CD reviews, videos and much more. In addition, the FolkWorks organization sponsors many live performances throughout each year, giving many musicians the opportunity to reach new audiences. Please help us support this terrific organization! The show will feature sets by Nevenka, The Swing Riots, Sausage Grinder, Tunacious and a few songs by Emcee Tracy Newman. There will also be a bit of contra dancing at the end of the evening. Ticket prices are as follows:General Admission - $20
