MAGIC MONDAY Returns To Santa Monica Playhouse For 3rd Smash Year

Magic Monday - Albie Selznick (Smoke and Mirrors) returns to the Santa Monica Playhouse for a summer full of magic. Every Monday evening from May through August will see a new and different lineup of world-class, award-winning magicians and outstanding variety acts. Get ready for an unforgettable season of show-stopping feats - including sleight of hand, interactive parlor magic and mind-blowing illusions.

Hosted by Albie Selznick (life-time member of the Magic Castle, creator/performer of hit theatrical magic show Smoke and Mirrors)

Opening night line-up (May 7): Pop Haydn (seven-time Magic Castle "Magician of the Year"), David Kovac (Magic Castle emcee, named the "Trickster Hero" by the Chicago Tribune), Michael Rayner (America's Got Talent, The Late Late Show with James Corden, David Letterman), and Steven Himmel (two-time award-winning Magic Castle close-up magician)

Future weeks will feature performers including Simon Coronel (two-time award winner at the World Championship of Magic), Andrew Goldenhersh (two-time Magic Castle "Parlour Magician of the Year"), Hillel "Mr. Balloon Man" (Argentinean master magic clown), Bruce Gold: (as seen on Penn and Teller's Fool Us), Christopher Hart (award-winning magician who played "The Thing" in The Addams Family films), Steve Owens (14-time Magic Award winner ), Ivan Pecel (nine-time world champion juggler), Naathan Phan (Masters of Illusion, Wizard Wars, America's Got Talent) and Jeki Yoo (close-up winner, Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques (FISM); first place winner, Swiss Magic Competition). Plus The Bistrevsky Brothers, Eric Buss, Lauro Castillo, Dave Cox, Kayla Drescher, Nick Paul, The LA Jugglers, Shawn McMaster, Richard and Migz, Dale Salwack, William Schwartzman, Scotto Smith, George Tovar, Michael Vile and more - over 75 performers in total.
