Luther Burbank Center for the Arts Presents the 10th Anniversary of POSADA NAVIDENA

Celebrating its 10th anniversary at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (The Center), Ballet Folklórico de Sacramento's Posada Navideña returns this holiday season on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 7 p.m. as a part of The Center's popular Rodney Strong Vineyards Dance Series. An annual sold out event at The Center, Posada Navideña invites audiences of all ages to come experience the folk culture of Mexico and its unique customs and traditions during this popular Christmas production and traditional Posada celebration.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and include free arts and crafts in the lobby starting at 6 p.m. and a free Posada celebration immediately following the show. Tickets are available now online at lutherburbankcenter.org, by calling 707-546-3600 or at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts ticket office (50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa).

A Sonoma County audience favorite celebrating its 10th year at Luther Burbank Center for the Arts, audiences will truly experience the wonderful folk culture of Mexico and its unique customs through this unique celebration and Christmas production. This traditional Mexican holiday presentation portrays the "Pastorela" (pilgrimage) made by Joseph and Mary before the birth of Christ. Featuring traditional Mexican folkloric dances and music performed by dancers and musicians from Ballet Folklórico de Sacramento, this performance will make you audiences feel transported to Mexico for an uplifting dose of the beautiful culture and customs of Mexico past and present.
