This summer, an iconic Hollywood venue for performance and film, the John Anson Ford Amphitheater makes its dramatic return after a nearly two-year revitalization.

Helmed by a team of LA women designers - architect Brenda Levin, whose work includes the Dodger Stadium, Wiltern Theater and Hollyhock House restorations, and landscape architect Mia Lehrer, whose Annenberg Beach House and Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel have received critical praise - have worked to revitalize the artist and audience experiences alike.

The Ford Theatres summer series is a highly anticipated cultural highlight of the year and represents a celebration of diverse cultures through the arts. Performances will include variations of theater, film, spoken word and more. A calendar highlighting these performances is below. The full Ford Theatres schedule may be viewed at http://fordtheatres.org.

I hope you will consider these performances and the Ford's redesign as either a feature or front of book item in the coming months. Performances begin in July and will continue through October. If you are interested in finding out more about any of the artists or the project - and potentially setting up an interview with seasoned performers or Ford Theatres representatives - please let me know and I'll be happy to help facilitate.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Andreia DeVries
