FROM HER EYES ONLY Comes to Edgemar Center for the Arts Image

Espionage fiction has certainly been a popular genre, particularly within the last fifty years. But spy stories are typically told entirely through the lens of the male perspective. The World's Greatest Secret Agent Ever is known particularly for the spectacular female companions he keeps. What if the stories were told from the viewpoints of the women he loved and left? In the new show From Her Eyes Only, the women who shared his adventures get their say about what really happened when they were with him.

The cast includes (in alphabetical order) Nicholas Adams, Everett Ray Aponte, Miho Fugi, Carly Harper Josephine Hies, Karely Ibarra, Sabreena Jattan, Reale Kgobokoe, Shinobu Kuraya, Mio Line, Lily McManus, Meitar Paz, Reece Putinas, Costanza Salvini, Larissa Satzger and Celeste Villar. Also, Gabriel Fuentes, guitarist.

Derek Jeremiah Reid is the writer-producer-director. He has previously directed shows at Fremont Centre Theatre, IO West and Upright Citizens Brigade. He is known for his portrayal of Barack Obama in shows like Top Story Weekly, Oh Mamma and Obama!, and How Obama Got His Groove Back. He has also hosted shows on Fox Family Channel, including The Basement and Weekend Chill. He is a writer-director-performer of Top Story Weekly, Los Angeles' longest running topical sketch show. At Edgemar, he directs Hidden Fortress (the world's only Japanese improv team). His parody web series Black Spider-Man has been screened at multiple West Coast Comic Conventions.

As the title suggests, From Her Eyes Only features a parade of gorgeous women, reason enough to hurry over to Edgemar Center for the Arts and see it.
