El Capitan Theatre Hosts CARS 2 Experience, 6/24-8/28
Hollywood's legendary El Capitan Theatre will rev up the action during its special engagement of Disney/Pixar's "Cars 2," it was announced today by Lylle Breier, senior vice president of worldwide special events for Disney. The film, which plays June 24- Aug. 28 at the El Capitan Theatre, will be presented in Disney Digital 3DTM and RealDTM 3D, and the exclusive guest experience includes the all new World Grand Prix Attraction presented by Kodak.
The World Grand Prix is a turbo-charged, all-new 25,000 square-foot outdoor attraction located behind the El Capitan Theatre. It's filled with more than 3 ½ hours of fun and games for the entire family.Breier said, "The El Capitan Theatre is family fun headquarters with "Cars 2" and the World Grand Prix Attraction. We are thrilled to have our guests continue the excitement after the movie ends with this high-octane attraction, which features an actual racetrack, an incredible display of cars from the Petersen Automotive Museum, a climbing wall made of tires, an Eiffel Tower bungee jump, and much, much more.
