Dezart Performs kicks off its 2015-16 Season with the Outer Critic's Circle nominated dark comedy THE RECEPTIONIST, opening November 13 and playing through November 22. "The hilarious yet thought-provoking comedy written by Adam Bock raises unsettling questions about the consequences of complicity with evil", says Dezart Performs Artistic Director Michael Shaw. "'Can I put you through to his voicemail?' will never have the same meaning once you witness this hilariously twisted comedy. Delivered with the utmost sincerity, it will ultimately send chills down your spine."

Tickets for the Friday and Saturday evening performances are $28, and $24 for the Saturday and Sunday matinees. Two- and three-play season tickets are also available at a lower per-performance cost. Both individual and season tickets may be purchased online at www.dezartperforms.org, or by calling (760) 322-0179

The Dezart Performs production brings "The Receptionist" to the Coachella Valley for the first time. Directed by Shaw, it will star Deborah Harmon (as Beverly), Theresa Jewett, Lou Galvan and Hal O'Connell. Tom Valach is the set designer, and Phil Murphy, lighting. The producers are Shaw and Clark Dugger.

"The brilliance of Adam Bock's play is in what is never said," Shaw notes. "You're riding along, laughing your way through some of the funniest dialog on stage, and then, Wham! Out of nowhere. Get ready. It's a ride.
