The new Avery Schreiber Playhouse will present the return to LA of the smash hit original comedy "Doubting Thomason," in seven performances August 2nd -31st at 4934 Lankershim Boulevard, Noho CA 91601. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased online at www.averyschreiberplayhouse.com

"Doubting Thomason," directed by Paul Storiale and written by Christopher Brewster, features the acting talents of Sam Boeck, Ian Maddox, Liz Saydah, Adam Loyd, and Kelly Kemp.

The character-driven comedy (with nudity and violence!) features drama queens, aspiring starlets, and surfer dudes who are part of a small theater company just days before opening, when they learn they don't have a license to perform the show! But everyone knows the show must go on--so all must desperately scramble to come up with a brand-new production with the same actors and same set! The ensuing hilarity takes the audience behind the scenes for a funny peek at life on the other side of the curtain.
