Celebration Theatre is thrilled to announce the final late night show of its celebratory 30thAnniversary Season, the world premiere of a new sketch comedy show, Kim Jong Fun! Or How I Learned To Love The Bomb, directed by Todd Milliner. Kim Jong Fun! will open on Friday, June 28 and will perform through Saturday, July 27 at Celebration Theatre, 7051B Santa Monica Blvd in Hollywood.
Kim Jong Fun or How I learned to Love the Bomb is a compilation sketch show dealing with an array of topics that in some way, shape and/or form deal with the passing of time. Generational issues seem to come in a close second, but as the saying goes: second place is nothing more than the first loser and no matter which Jong is in power the people will cower.. Todd Milliner (Director/Producer) This is Todd Milliner's SIXTH sketch show at Celebration. Todd hails from Chicago where he worked and taught at The Second City. Todd formed Hazy Mills Productions with Sean Hayes in 2003. Currently Todd is the executive producer of "GRIMM" (NBC) and "Hot In Cleveland" (TV-Land) which debuted to the largest basic cable comedy audience in history. Also the new NBC Comedy starring Sean Hayes "SEAN SAVES THE WORLD," the new NBC Game Show hosted by Jane Lynch "HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT," and the Cedric the Entertainer comedy, "THE SOUL MAN." Todd also produced the Ovation-nominated production of Richard Greenberg's "Take Me Out" in 2011 for Celebration Theatre.
