Casting has been announced for The Fuse Project and Rockwell Table & Stage's "Scissorhands" running this holiday season at 8pm Friday and Saturday nights with a Sunday 12 noon brunch, at Rockwell November 29 thru January 5, 2019.

Casting includes Dionne Gipson as the Inventor, Jordan Kai Burnett as Scissorhands, Emma Hunton as Peg, Natalie Masini as Kim, Keir Kirkegaard as Jim, Carly Casey as Joyce, Ryan O'Connor as Bill/Helen and Morgan Smith as Esmerelda.

Join the world that is Edward Scissorhands and step back to the year 1990 in America, as Rockwell recalls this romantic, dark fantasy film from the macabre imagination of Tim Burton, which starred Johnny Depp as an artificial man named Edward, an unfinished creation who has scissor blades instead of hands. The film's young man is taken in by a suburban family and falls in love with their teenage daughter Kim, played by Winona Ryder. The film's all-star cast included Dianne Wiest, Anthony Michael Hall, Alan Arkin, and the late Vincent Price.

The Fuse Project's brand is to meld together pop culture icons, cinema & digital classics into one intense, hilarious, and thought-provoking night of epic musical theatre, brought to you by the irrepressible Kate Pazakis and Bradley Bredeweg. Rockwell Table & Stage serves as the perfect venue for this intimate and engaging theatrical event, offering a delicious menu and craft cocktails to accompany the stellar entertainment.

Says Pazakis, "This holiday treat has been a long time in the making, simmering inside our minds." Adding, "and this being Hollywood during the holidays, we can only imagine who from the film cast might show up on any given night to celebrate with us!"

Bredeweg is the Creator, Executive Producer, and Showrunner of the hit Walt Disney and Jennifer Lopez-produced television series, THE FOSTERS, as well as the highly anticipated spin-off GOOD TROUBLE, which premieres January 8, 2019 on Freeform and Hulu. Pazakis is best known for creating the UMPO series at Rockwell, with shows that have included The Unauthorized Musical parodies of THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, HOCUS POCUS, MEAN GURLZ, CLUELESS, JURASSIC PARK, and the recent smash hit, BRIDESMAIDS.

Together, they produced the smash hit ROMEO+JULIET: LOVE IS A BATTLEFIELD, starring Corbin Blue and Ashley Argota, as well as AMERICAN IDIOT on London's West End. Bredeweg is also known for producing the acclaimed revival of SIDE SHOW, directed by Oscar winner Bill Condon, as well as the massive hit mini-series TUT, starring Ben Kingsley.

Bredeweg commented, "I have always wanted to pay tribute to Edward Scissorhands, along with the idea of a female to play the lead." Adding, "today, when diverse casting has become so important, I'm excited to turn an already big-hearted iconic holiday movie into a unique and memorable immersive theatrical experience for a modern audience."

Tickets are on sale now for Rockwell Table & Stage, located in Los Feliz at 1714 N. Vermont Ave, Los Angeles.
