Candice Guardino to Bring ITALIAN BRED to The Colony Theatre This Winter

ITALIAN BRED comes to the West Coast after a successful Off Broadway NYC run with Sold-Out Crowds and Rave Reviews. After several, standing room only performances at the Hudson Theatre in Hollywood, Italian Bred moves to The Colony Theatre in Burbank to accommodate the frequent large crowds.

ITALIAN BRED is a Fresh and Hilariously Heartwarming, New Family Comedy about growing up in NY, written by and starring Candice Guardino. Italian Bred is based on true life events, told through the eyes of a little girl. Italian Bred has attracted celebrities and fans from all over the world. Having written down everything her loving and outspoken grandmother ever uttered, Candice slips in and out of characters as she cooks up a full meal of growing up on Staten Island, NY.

Candice Guardino is the grandniece of the legendary, Tony nominated, Harry Guardino, of Ocean's Eleven, Murder She Wrote, Dirty Harry, and Broadway's Woman Of The Year with Lauren Bacall. Candice Guardino (Writer & Star) Candice Guardino was born in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, raised in Staten Island and now lives in LA and NYC. Her family lives in New Jersey, but according to her Mother, they live in the country. Candice exploded onto the NYC theatre scene with her outrageously revealing one-woman show, "S.O.S." that ran at Stage 72 (formerly The Triad) and The Laurie Beechman. Candice writes and produces her own work. She has written several sitcoms, stage plays, screenplays and shorts. She performs with comedy groups like: Uprights Citizens Brigade, The Pit, Cult Comedy, & Second City Showcases in LA & NY. Candice is also a recent Alumni of the CBS Diversity Showcase. Her favorite credits include: (Off Broadway Premiere) New York Musical Theatre Festival. That Other Woman's Child. Off Broadway Premiere: Worlds Away.
