 Barbara Morrison, the legendary Jazz & Blues Singer, will be the headline performer, accompanied by the 18-piece Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center (BMPAC) All-Star Big Band Orchestra conducted by John Daniel Stephens, at The 2nd Annual Skoole Awards honoring "Old School contributors to the music and entertainment worlds."  

Other surprise guests are also on the bill.  Produced by Skoole Awards Founder and entrepreneur, Cornelius Grant,honorees this year will include:  Regina Jones, Founder and Publisher of “Soul Magazine,” Wally Roker, an original member of the Heartbeats and the original promotion man at Scepter Records and David Harrisoin Levi, a Cancer Awareness Champion in the entertainment industry.  Award Presenters will include:  Paul Williams, son of the famed Temptations original member, Paul Willams and David Ruffin, Jr., son of The TemptationsDavid Ruffin.
 
WHAT:           The 2nd Annual Skoole Awards.

WHERE:         Marriott Hotel, 4100 Admiralty Way, Marina del Rey, CA  90292.

WHEN:           Saturday, August 4, 2012.  Red Carpet Ceremony starting at 6:00 p.m., with Dinner commencing at 7:00 p.m., and entertainment and dancing until midnight.  Business Attire.

HOW:             Individual Dinner Tickets are $75 per person. or $650 for a Table of 10.  Tickets may be purchased by calling 888-304-4995, or online at www.ticketstoskooleawards.com.  The ticket price includes a sit down dinner with the choice of one entrée with assorted breads, salad, desert catered by the Marriott Hotel.  There will be a Cash Bar.  Valet Parking is available for $12 per car or Self Parking across the street from the Marriott Hotel is available for $10 per car.
