Barbara Morrison, the legendary Jazz & Blues Singer, will be the headline performer, accompanied by the 18-piece Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center (BMPAC) All-Star Big Band Orchestra conducted by John Daniel Stephens, at The 2nd Annual Skoole Awards honoring "Old School contributors to the music and entertainment worlds."
Other surprise guests are also on the bill. Produced by Skoole Awards Founder and entrepreneur, Cornelius Grant,honorees this year will include: Regina Jones, Founder and Publisher of “Soul Magazine,” Wally Roker, an original member of the Heartbeats and the original promotion man at Scepter Records and David Harrisoin Levi, a Cancer Awareness Champion in the entertainment industry. Award Presenters will include: Paul Williams, son of the famed Temptations original member, Paul Willams and David Ruffin, Jr., son of The Temptations’ David Ruffin.
